Safety Training for Personnel Providing Direct Service to Passengers in Passenger Spaces
The course "Safety Training for Personnel Providing Service to Passengers in Passenger Spaces" is aimed at training and developing professional skills for the personnel of passenger ships. Course participants will learn to manage actions in emergency situations, interact effectively with passengers, provide first aid, coordinate actions in emergency situations, and conduct evacuations in accordance with legislative requirements and safety standards.
International IMO standards: STCW Convention, Regulation V/2, Subparagraph 5, STCW Code, Section A-V/2, Subparagraph 2.

Providing students with the relevant knowledge, understanding, and professional skills on safety issues for personnel who provide direct service to passengers in passenger spaces; managing unorganized crowds on passenger ships; managing and handling people in crisis situations; ensuring the safety of passengers, cargo, and the watertight integrity of the ship's hull. Issuing certificates
Level of instructor-teachers
Instructors have the appropriate qualifications and experience in accordance with the provisions of Section 1/6 of the amended STCW Code. They have maritime education, more than 3 years of experience working on sea-going vessels, more than 1 year of experience in training command staff in training centers, and a certificate of completion of the "Safety Training for Personnel Providing Service to Passengers in Passenger Spaces" course.

Explanation of standards
STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) — The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers.
- V/2 — Section V, Regulation 2 of the STCW Convention, relating to special requirements for the training of passenger ship personnel. Subparagraph 5 of this regulation specifies the requirements for safety training for personnel providing direct service to passengers.
- A-V/2 — Section A (Part A) of the STCW Code, providing detailed explanations to Section V/2 of the Convention. Subparagraph 2 of this section specifies the specific training requirements and standards for personnel providing direct service to passengers.
Material and technical support of the course
For theoretical training, a classroom equipped with tables and chairs for note-taking, training manuals, and instructional materials (posters, slides, photographs) is used. After theoretical classes, practical training is conducted on board the training ship "AVANT" to practice skills using individual and collective rescue equipment.
