2003
Establishment of a training center for seafarers
The AVANT Seafarer Training Center was established in April 2003 as a service provider for the training and education of qualified seafarers.

License of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
The AVANT Seafarers Training Center has been tested and licensed.

The license has been renewed and is currently valid.

2009
Educational and training complex
In 2009, basing on the AVANT MTC, a training and simulator complex was created for standards in relation to functions related to emergencies, labor protection, security, medical care and survival.

ISO AVANT Certification by Bureau Veritas
The quality management system of the AVANT training center for seafarers is approved by Bureau Veritas in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015. This ensures the training of seafarers accordingly with the standards of the International Quality System.

Center approval from the American Bureau of Shipping
We received approval in 2012, and in 2019 we revalidated and expanded our license from American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for 32 programs, simulators and an educational system to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. In accordance with the training and quality standards required by ABS for certification of equipment and training courses, a Certificate of Conformity was issued for the AVANT training center for seafarers.

The license has been renewed and is valid for the current moment.

AVANT Center Certification from the Maritime Administration of the Marshall Islands
AVANT has been approved by the Maritime Administration of the Marshall Islands for 23 programs, simulators and educational systems.

The license has been renewed and is valid ‘till now.

AVANT approval from the Maritime Administration of Liberia
On September 30, 2015, we got approval from the Maritime Administration of Liberia for 15 programs, simulators and an educational system.

The license has been renewed and is valid for the current moment.

Certification of the AVANT Center by the Maritime Administration of Panama
In 2017, the Maritime Administration of Panama approved 47 programs, simulators and a training system for the MTC "AVANT" training center for seafarers.

The license has been renewed and is valid for the current moment.

Online learning platform created
The AVANT Seafarer Training Center has received ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) approval for 9 courses for training and education of seafarers online.
