The course "Security Related Training and Instruction for All Seafarers" is developed in accordance with international IMO standards and meets the requirements of the STCW code. The training program covers all aspects of ship security, including identifying and managing security threats, emergency procedures, and the use of security systems and equipment. Participants of the course study current security threats, methods of detecting weapons and dangerous substances, as well as crowd management and personal search techniques. The course is approved by several maritime administrations, including Ukraine, and is intended for ship officers, crew members, and maritime academy cadets. Upon completion, a certificate of a qualified specialist in ship security is issued.

On the course you will learn to

  • current ship security threats;
  • emergency procedures and contingency plans;
  • detection of weapons, hazardous substances, and devices;
  • identification of individuals posing a threat to ship security;
  • methods of bypassing ship security measures;
  • crowd control and management techniques;
  • communication organization during ship security operations;
  • management of ship security systems and equipment;
  • testing, calibration, and maintenance of security systems and equipment;
  • inspection, control, and monitoring of equipment;
  • methods of physical search of personnel, personal belongings, luggage, cargo, and ship supplies.

Issuing certificates

Certificate of a qualified specialist.

Level of instructor-teachers

Qualifications and experience in accordance with the provisions of section 1/6 of the STCW Code with amendments; maritime education; over three years of experience working on ships; more than one year of experience working in a training center for ship officers; certificate of the "Security Related Training and Instruction for All Seafarers" course.

Compliance with international conventions

    • Training of maritime professionals in the field of ship security and safety.
