On the course you will learn to
– Every seafarer has the right to a safe and secure workplace that complies with safety standards.
– Every seafarer has the right to fair conditions of employment.
– Every seafarer has the right to decent working and living conditions on board ship.
– Every seafarer has the right to health protection, medical care, welfare measures and other forms of social protection.
Each Member shall ensure, within the limits of its jurisdiction, the full respect of the seafarers' employment and social rights set out in the preceding paragraphs of this Article, in accordance with the requirements of this Convention. Unless otherwise provided in this Convention, such implementation may be achieved through national laws or regulations, through applicable collective bargaining agreements, or through other measures or in practice.

Must have: proper qualification and experience in accordance with the provisions of Section 1/6 of the STCW Code, as amended; maritime education; work experience on sea vessels of at least 3 years; work experience in training center for command staff training of at least 1 year; training course certificate "International Labour Convention in Maritime Shipping (MLC)"

Material and technical support of the course
For theoretical training, a classroom equipped with tables and chairs enabling note-taking is used; the necessary number of educational and methodological manuals for the training process; appropriate educational and demonstration materials (stands, posters, posters, slides, photographs)
