About the Course
Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator is designed for deck officers and other personnel involved in cargo handling operations on tankers. The course provides practical training using a computer-based simulator that reproduces tanker cargo systems and operational scenarios.
Participants practise planning and conducting cargo loading, transfer and discharge operations, operating cargo pumps, valves and pipelines, monitoring cargo parameters and coordinating shipboard cargo operations in accordance with established operational procedures.
Simulator exercises reproduce both normal and abnormal operating conditions, enabling trainees to improve decision-making, teamwork and operational safety while managing liquid cargo systems.
