On the course you will learn to

– monitoring of operation of electrical and electronic systems, as well as control systems;

– operation of generators and distribution systems;

– operation and technical maintenance of systems with voltage over 1000 V.;

– operation of computers and computer networks on ships.

Level of instructor-teachers

Must have: proper qualification and experience in accordance with the provisions of Section 1/6 of the STCW Code, with amendments; maritime education; work experience on sea vessels of at least 3 years; work experience in training center for command staff training of at least 1 year; training course certificate "Maintenance of Electrical Equipment"

Compliance with international conventions

Proof of competence of chief and second engineers to the level of requirements A-III/2, with function "Electrical equipment, electronic apparatus and control systems at management level"

Material and technical support of the course

For theoretical training, a classroom equipped with tables and chairs enabling note-taking is used; the necessary number of educational and methodological manuals for the training process; appropriate educational and demonstration materials (stands, posters, posters, slides, photographs)
