On the course you will learn to
– use requirements of international legislation on management of safe operation of ships and pollution prevention;
– apply requirements of the Safety Management System on board ship (SMS);
– apply organization of safe work performance on board ship and pollution prevention;
– apply methodology for conducting additional training of personnel on board ships on safety techniques and environmental protection

Level of instructor-teachers
Must have: proper qualification and experience in accordance with the provisions of Section 1/6 of the STCW Code, as amended; maritime education; work experience on sea vessels of at least 3 years; work experience in training center for command staff training of at least 1 year; training course certificate "Ship Officer (ISM)"

Material and technical support of the course
For theoretical training, a classroom equipped with tables and chairs enabling note-taking is used; the necessary number of educational and methodological manuals for the training process; appropriate educational and demonstration materials (stands, posters, posters, slides, photographs)
