3. Submit a copy of the international passport and a copy of the seaman's book, together with a copy of the certificate confirming completion of the required course at the AVANT seafarer training center.
4. Pay in advance for the service of verifying the authenticity of national documents. Payment is made using the seafarer's card.

AVANT submits documents through a dedicated electronic office. The Liberian Maritime Administration issues certificates only after a successful verification of the authenticity of national documents.

At the final stage, the seafarer will be able to download the original seafarer certificate with a QR code using their personal account on the Liberian Registry portal.
